The Computational Social Science Institute (CSSI) and the Data Analytics and Computational Social Science (DACSS) program are excited to host another joint Student Research Poster Session on Friday, May 9, 9am to 10:30am in Integrative Learning Center (ILC) Room S311.
Faculty, students, and staff are invited to stop by to learn about the exciting research being done across campus using computational social science methods. This event offers a great opportunity to explore a wide range of student-led research and applications, and to engage in interdisciplinary conversations on emerging topics.
Computational Social Science Student Research Poster Session

Some of the poster topics include: algorithmic bias in criminal justice, misinformation on social media, health impacts of climate policy, topic model interpretability, variable selection in high-dimensional regression, generative AI in education, tie formation in online queer communities, and many others!
Awards will be given in the following categories: Best Application, Best Method, Best Graphics, Best Poster (PhD, Master’s, Undergraduate), and People’s Choice.
